Product description

100% Ylang Ylang Essential Oil has a powerful floral and intensely sweet aroma. It promotes inner peace, joy and sensuality. Ylang ylang essential oil belongs in all perfumeries and pharmacies and is a real treasure from the floral world. The name "ylang ylang" comes from the Philippine "alang-ilang", which refers to flowers that "hang" in the breeze. The islanders would dip the flowers in coconut oil, creating a pomade called boori-boori; it is used in body wraps to reduce fever and infections and to nourish and rejuvenate the skin. The oil is also applied to hair as protection from ocean salt water, as well as being used to soothe insect bites.

ENERGETICS

Energetically cool and moist, ylang ylang  essential oil is known for its ability to calm restlessness and agitation and to promote deep sleep.

Without the presence of cold and moist Yin energy, emotions cannot flow and tend to "dry out", leading to isolation and depression. The Mind (Shen) loses its natural ability to express and experience both joy and pleasure.

PERSONALITY

Ylang ylang calms and soothes your mind and body, opens your heart and enhances your mood. The emotional characteristic of ylang ylang is a gentle euphoria that can be used in all stages of life to uplift emotions. It can be used to bring emotional  balance during fear and distress. Ylang ylang helps to create a feeling of peace and dispels anger and frustration, which are often an obstacle to healing, meditation and all spiritual activities. Ylang ylang can help balance male and female energies, reducing the internal conflict between these opposites. In this way, the aroma of Ylang Ylang oil can positively influence sexual relationships, helping to restore self-confidence and self-esteem, and inspire creativity. The oil is recommended for impotence and frigidity, especially when fear and anxiety unknowingly block feelings of sexuality.
