Smudge bombs are used in a similar way to charcoal tablets. Ignite the smudging bomb and place it flat-side down on a non-flammable surface or container, such as an incense burner, cauldron, etc...
After lighting the bomb, carefully blow out the flame until only smoke is coming out of the bomb.
When the smoke subsides, let the remnants cool completely before disposal. Open windows and ventilate well. If you have sensitive respiratory tract or if there is a smoke detector in the room, it is recommended to keep windows open during fumigation.
