An authentic rain stick made from bamboo and hard bark from trees. It is painted with primitive patterns. Surprisingly authentic sound can be achieved by gently tilting it. The sound spectrum ranges from gentle drizzle to strong noise when clouds burst.
These sounds are caused by small pebbles that fall through tiny gaps - a spiral staircase inside the stick.
Made in a traditional workshop on the island of Bali.
