High quality almond butter is an excellent choice for very dry skin anywhere on the body; it is rich in protein and vitamin D. It has regenerative abilities and softens dry skin.
Almond butter contains a high amount of vitamin E, which is one of the most important nutrients for healthy skin. Many scientific studies have confirmed that vitamin E protects the skin from aging (specifically against natural oxidation of the skin and the effects of sunlight). Almond butter contains healthy omega-6 fatty acids, which the body uses together with omega-3 acids for the biosynthesis of eicosanoids. These reduce the incidence of eczema, psoriasis, acne and other inflammatory skin conditions.
This butter is suitable for moisturizing very dry areas of the skin. It is suitable for children from birth. If you suffer from dry skin, apply the butter after bathing, preferably at night. It is also excellent for massages.
Almond butter is packaged in a bail lid glass jar.
Store in a dry and dark place away from direct sunlight. We recommend storing all products at temperatures below 22 °C.
The application we use for oils also applies to body butters. To fully utilize the potential of body butter, it must always be applied onto damp skin (this is always the case for any oil or butter). Therefore, it’s important to keep your skin from drying out. Butter (containing oils and fatty acids) has the attribute of forming a protective barrier on the surface area of the skin, through which it does not allow the moisture to penetrate into the skin and vice versa. Therefore, when the body butter is applied to moist skin, the skin remains healthy and hydrated. In this way, butter and oils regulate the moisture balance. Ideally, it can be applied directly after a shower because then it is maximally absorbed.
