Detailed Information:
By turning the crank of the small music box, you can enjoy the melody by Mozart, the composition "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" (in English: A Little Night Music). It is one of the most famous works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It is Serenade No. 13 for a string orchestra in G major (K. 525), composed in 1787, during the period of high classicism. Although this piece is very well-known and popular today, Mozart himself probably considered it one of his minor works, as he did not mention it in his letters.

A serenade is a type of light, celebratory music, often composed for evening events. "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" is a work full of energy, elegance, and joy, typical for classicism. Although the title suggests that it might be suitable for evening listening, its lively tempo and structure make it a very dynamic and exciting piece.

"Eine kleine Nachtmusik" is popular today not only in concert halls but is often heard in movies, commercials, and other forms of popular culture.

This serenade is a perfect example of Mozart's ability to combine lightness, elegance, and sophistication in a musical form that pleases listeners of various generations.

The delicate nostalgic, retro sounds are even stronger when you take out the small music mechanism from the box. Since the mechanism is mounted on a small wooden board, this music box will develop its sound particularly well when you press it against a large resonating body, such as a table, chair or box.
