When you turn the crank, you'll hear the first part of Antonio Vivaldi's famous concerto "La Primavera - Spring". You can almost see the chirping of birds that Vivaldi musically brings out.
The music box is adorned with a painting supposed to represent Italian composer and violinist Antonio Vivaldi. Vivaldi, a representative of the Baroque period, created the violin concerto "Spring" as part of the collection "The Four Seasons".
The delicate melody sounds even stronger when you remove the small mechanism from its lovingly decorated box. Since the mechanism is mounted on a small wooden board, this music box will project its sound particularly well when pressed against a large resonating body, such as a table, chair or box.
